Gr.2 Challenge Stakes winner Stimulation has sired his first foal. The bay colt was born on Monday at Llety Farms, where the son of Champion Sprinter Choisir stands.

Category: General

Stud owner David Hodge said: “We are excited to have our first foal on the ground, especially one like this. If they are all like him and fly around like he is already, they should be really commercial and precocious. We have another five mares bagged up and we would be delighted to show the foals to anybody. We covered 80 mares last season and it is really pleasing so many of their owners are sending mares back again.

The colt is out of the four-times winning Fraam mare Noble Nova, a halfsister
to Noble One (Primo Dominie), dam of the dual Gr.1 winner Peeress (Pivotal), from the family of Gr.3 (then) May Hill Stakes second Tender Loving Care (Final Straw) and the Gr.3 (then) May Hill Stakes winner Satinette (Shirley Heights).

Stimulation, rated 121 by Timeform and described as “well made”, beat 14 Stakes winners in the Challenge and also won the Listed Free Handicap over the
same trip of seven furlongs, as well as being Group placed five times.
