Auction House

Auction House, who stood at Llety Stud since his retirement from the racetrack in 2003, had to be put down on Saturday, April 2.

Category: General

Auction House had had a good stud career to date with the Grade Two placed Ghetto and the Listed placed Fratellino and Bid Again among his progeny. However following a paddock accident the winner of the Champagne Stakes Gr2 had to have surgery on his near hind, complications after the operation resulted in him being put to sleep.

David Hodge of Llety Stud commented:

Auction House has been a terrific servant to the stud. From limited opportunities he had a great runner to winner ratio. Not only was he a gorgeous individual but had a wonderful temperament and he passed these qualities on to his stock, who have always given of their best. We will miss him greatly.
