Llety Farms is set in some 250 acres at the heart of the Vale of Towy, Carmarthenshire. The sheltered paddocks, quiet meadows, and rolling parkland create the perfect nursery for young thoroughbreds, while the mild climate and fertile soils bestow an extended growing season, and grazing to rival any in the UK.

The stud formed by Will Hodge has been in existence for over 50 years, and has stood such notables as Bold Owl, and Merdon Melody. Auction House (USA), the studs’ current flagship stallion, continues the tradition of offering stallions that represent superb value for money with a high winner to runner ratio.

Over the years the stud has, and continues to develop the facilities expected from a professional breeding facility. An example of which was the construction of a dedicated equine clinic that opened in March 2006 to help with the overall care of visiting and resident mares as well as young stock.

Will Hodge has been involved in the thoroughbred industry for the majority of his life, during which he has forged a reputation for having a good eye for a horse and breeding winners. A keen equestrian competitor in his younger days, he has passed his love of horses on to his sons David and Charles who both rode to Junior International level and now run the stud on a day to day basis.
